Performance
- Everbearer with high chill requirement

- Fruit size is excellent and constant during the whole picking season
- Fruit color is bright red, very attractive and uniform, even when the berries are fully ripe

- Excellent skin resistance with very good shelf life even in high temperatures
- Very pleasant organoleptic characteristics; ideal balance between sweetness and light acidic notes, good Brix level
- Intense and persistent strawberry aroma
- Fruit picking is easy and fast
- Fruit is highly resistant on the plant and can be harvested when fully ripe
Growth habit
- Medium-density foliage, with semi-upright habit
- Rustic plant with good tolerance to soil-borne diseases and high resistance to mildew

APG 003 is a new variety available exclusively through APG in Australia
Availability
This variety is new to the Australian market and still under development. Testing of this variety will occur once it has been released from quarantine (planned end October 2022).
There will be a Royalty Fee applied when the varieties are commercialised. We will advise Commercial fruit producers when this variety is commercially available. Commercial fruit producers will be required to sign a Non-Propagation agreement before accepting the delivery of runners.
